After the Indigo controversy, Air India decided to take a dig at the airline and won the Internet with two adverts.
Here’s the first one.
And the second.
The Indigo controversy that went viral on November 7 showed the airline’s ground staff manhandling and physically assaulting an elderly passenger at the Delhi airport.
Soon after, another advertisement, seemingly created by Jet Airways, popped up on social media and threw everyone into a frenzy.
Twitter obviously had a field day.
Tagline of our diff airlines :
Indigo – We beat our customers
Jet Airways – We beat our competition not our customers
Air India – We don’t beat our customers. We get beaten by our MPs
Go Air – We don’t have customers.
Air Vistara – We don’t have planes.

Jet Airways – We beat our competition, not you
Indigo – We beat our competition and you
Air India – We get ourselves beaten by competition and you

people are boycotting indigo and rebooking flight with air india. smh, I will prefer getting beaten up instead of sleeping on airport bench for 6 to 8 hours.

Jet Airways, however, clarified in a statement that the advert was fake and in bad taste.
Jet Airways Statement:
Jet Airways did not commission the creative being shared on social media platforms, in context of a recent event concerning another domestic airline.
The creative does not reflect our philosophy and ethos and is in fact, in bad taste.

Fake or not fake, everyone seems to be scrambling for the limelight.
