ISIS Has Just Warned India Of Las Vegas Type Lone-Wolf Attacks During Kumbh Mela

The Islamic State has said that it will carry out lone-wolf terror attack across India in the coming days. It has released a 10-minute audio clip in Malayalam saying that it will soon carry out Las Vegas type attacks on crowds gathering for Kumbh Mela and Thrissur Pooram. 

On October 1, a gunman opened fire on as many as 22,000 people gathered for a music festival in Las Vegas Strip, Nevada. At least 59 people lost their lives and nearly 546 were wounded in the deadly attack.

This is said to be the 50th such clip from ISIS. The militant in the clip is heard saying that they will use every way to kill and harm people. They might put poison in the food or drive over the crowd.

“You use your intellect. Poison them in food. Use trucks. Drive over them at Thirssur Pooram or at Maha Kumbh Mela. IS Mujahideen are doing it in several parts of the world. In Las Vegas, one of our supporters killed many people at a music concert. At least you should try to derail a train. Or use a knife,” the male voice in the clip reportedly said.

“If you are not able to do that despite your prayers and efforts, then you should financially support Daulatul Islam and Islamic State,” the voice in the clip added.

According to Zee News, The Kerala Police sources have said that the audio clip has been transmitted over Telegram Messenger from a location in Afghanistan.

According to the reports, it is being suspected that the male voice in the audio is of  Rashid Abdullah – the alleged leader of the Islamic State module in Kasaragod who had left the country to join the outfit in Afghanistan.

Former special director of Cabinet Secretariat, V Balachandran said: “This is very serious. They are going to take the battle to India from Europe and the Middle East.”
