The iPhone X has been touted as one of the most powerful smartphones in the world where it performs like a dream and has features that no other phone has. The design of the smartphone is one of the sexiest we’ve ever seen and even though the notch can and does interfere with the visual experience, its one of the most exciting displays we’ve seen in a long time.
The iPhone X is not only known for its near-perfect design, as it packs a punch when it comes to performance and user experience. The operating system on the iPhone X i.e. iOS 11 works perfectly in tandem with the A11 Bionic SoC. The iPhone X outperformed every other smartphone out there in terms of speed and stability —until today.
iPhone X has generally surpassed every rival Android smartphone in speed tests, although latest updates to iOS 11 have caused the smartphone to face some performance issues. Due to the lack of performance on the iOS 11, a new Android smartphone dethroned the iPhone X in a speed test.
Youtube channel EverythingApplePro decided to pit the iPhone X against the OnePlus 5T and the results were shocking in a real-world speed rest. The Face Unlock on the OnePlus 5T has already been declared faster than iPhone X’s Face ID, but it seems like the OnePlus 5T is outperforming in other aspects as well.
In the video, the OnePlus 5T outperformed the iPhone X by a huge margin and the smartphone houses a near-stock Android Nougat operating system. The OnePlus 5T also features at least 6GM of RAM, while the more expensive model features 8GB of RAM. The 5T also features Qualcomm’s top of the line Snapdragon 835 processor which is a direct competitor to Apple’s A11 Bionic chip. This is the first time the Android platform has managed to outperform Apple’s latest build of iOS. For now, the OnePlus 5T outperforms the iPhone X at least in terms of speed and you can watch the full video below for yourself and let us know your thoughts.
