Rajnikant’s Kabali Leaked three days before Release

After Udta Punjab, Great Grand Masti and Sultan, now superstar Rajnikanth’s most awaited Kabali  has fallen prey to piracy, with the film leaking online three days prior its official release.

The movie has reportedly made its way to the dark web, an internet platform which makes the movie available for streaming and downloads.

A source involved with the production unit of the film confirmed the news and told India Today, “We have contacted the authorities to pull down all these unauthorised links to the film.”

CBFC chief refuted the board’s involvement in the leak and told India Today, “They’ve not even spared Rajnikanth’s film. Kabali was censored in Chennai, so it had nothing do (with us).”

He also stated that the leak doesn’t disrupt the business of “big budgeted films”, but impacts the performance of “small films” like Great Grand Masti

While the entire film industry is campaigning against the “evil”, this development is certainly taken everyone by surprise.

Recently, the producer of the film had written a petition to Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), asking to issue instructions to all service providers to block illegal download of the film.

Meanwhile, fans took to twitter to express their solidarity with the superstar:
