You probably took forever to get here; to this point where you’re confronted by this person. She is all woman and yet, she is all girl. You’re still comprehending all of her; trying to wrap your head around the fact that somehow, she’s got a hold on you and it won’t go away. She’s gotten under your skin.
You probably took forever to meet her. It almost seemed like it was never going to happen. You had all but, given up. You had let go of the past, walked into your present and there she was!
She was waiting for you all along. Just like you had been waiting for her; you may not have even known it, till it happened. Something brought you to this point. Something led you to her. It seemed so mystical; it’s almost hard to believe. You were supposed to meet her. You’ve known it all along.
She will be the light at the end of the tunnel. This doesn’t mean there won’t be any more tunnels. But, this does mean that she’ll be there, too, walking alongside you; through all the darkness and the muck. She’ll help get your feet out of sticky situations and give you the hope you need to move on.
The woman you’re going to marry will be the breath of fresh air you so desperately needed but never knew could have. She took you like the wind and you’ve been wrapped up in her, ever since. She’s the one who saw you when no one else did. She’s the one who never stopped looking. She’s been watching over you, observing you closely. She’s been looking out for you.
The woman you marry is all sorts of different. She’s nothing like your first and nothing like your last. But, she’s the one it doesn’t get beyond. She’s it. She’s where the wait ends and the journey starts. She’s where the roller coaster meets the boat; where the storm meets the calm and the rain meets the rays of sunshine. She’s the brink; the threshold. And once you’re over, you’re never turning back.
She’s going to make you think, do a 180 degree, even a head tilt. She’s the one who’s going to make you question everything; the one who comes in when you’re on the brink of existential crisis. You’re questioning everything, including yourself. She’s the one who will walk in when everyone else has walked out. She’s the one that will stay when all else has left. She’s the one that will work when nothing else has.
The woman you marry is the one who is going to come into your life just when you weren’t expecting anything at all. She urged you to take a step when you thought you were over all of it. She’s the one that steps in when you think you’re more or less done. She’s the ‘always’ to your ‘never’; the sunshine to your clouds and the positive to your negative. She’s the exception to the rule. She’s where all rules bend and break; all signs come to fore and where all logic ceases to work. She’s everything that is defiant and opposite to what you originally accepted. She’s the challenge to your norm.
She is the revelation to all your preconceived notions; and yet, she’s evidence of your make-believe. She’s in the picture at the point where you almost believed there was no picture. She’s making you rethink your agenda; even you had none. She’s uprooting all the bases to lay a stronger foundation; one that is created by you and her. She’s the crazy to your sanity and the innocence to your wisdom. Yet, she is sane, kind and wise in ways that most aren’t. She is the opposite of your similarity and the harmony to your incongruence.
The woman you marry is nothing like you thought she would be. Yet, she is also exactly what you always wanted. It’s confusing, I know; mind-boggling even. The woman you marry is everything you’re not and yet, she is all that you stand for and more. The woman you marry stands by you; even when she stands against you. The woman you marry will fight you for you and urge you to see what you sometimes fail to see. The woman you marry will keep coming back till you are made aware of the truth that has been in front of you the whole time. She will surprise you and beguile you; she will anger you and move you. She will warm you and shun you. She will push and pull at your heart. She will be the friction that burns the fire within you. The random that makes you see reason; even when it seems completely nonsensical.
The woman you marry will be the sum total of your entire life—from your childhood to your old age—flashing right by you in instances and moments; with every word she utters; every time she smiles and every move she makes. The woman you’re going to marry will be the woman who will capture you—in good ways and in bad. She will have all of you and you will have all of you. And there will be no way out of it.
She will be the cave that you enter after having searched for a safety net for what could have been ages. She will be the parallel realm that will make you believe in alternate realities; the magic of the cosmos, even. She won’t just be your soulmate, or twin flame. The woman you marry will be different and similar to you. She won’t be like you and yet, when you look at her, you will see a reflection of your own soul—loved and cherished, like never before.
The woman you marry will be no island in the sea. She will be an entire world waiting to grow itself around you. She will be your ultimate destination. You’re not headed towards a goal that is made of things. You are headed towards a goal that is made up of two people—one is you ; the other is her. And from within, you will be creating the world you are ultimately meant to live in. The woman you’re going to marry will be the full stop of your past strife; and the beginning of a whole new language; ready to create a scripture of its own.
She will make love seem just that much easier as she will make letting go harder. She will consume all your energies and emotions, only to make you feel that much more rejuvenated. The woman you’re going to marry is the woman you will never have seen coming. But, when she does arrive, so will you; no matter how long it takes. The woman you marry will be destiny personified. So don’t fight that urge. Just go along with it and know that your destination is near.
