2018 Commonwealth Games: India’s Super Sunday Gets Better As Weightlifter Vikas Thakur Secures Bronze
Vikas Thakur added more glory to an already exciting Day 4 for India as he secured a bronze medal in the 94kg weightlifting category.
The lad from Ludhiana lifted a total of 351 kg. Sadly it was not enough to win gold, however he was able to get a podium finish.
With a final effort of 159 kg, he pretty much sealed the deal. Weightlifters have won most of our medals and the tally is only expected to rise.
With still many days left in the tournament, one can hope for more medals to come under our belt.
