Recently Mark Zuckerberg witnessed a privacy myth that might be Linked in Data leak that users were able to break into his account. After Mark now Google CEO Sundar Pichai Has witnessed this hack.
The hackers team had been posting messages on Quora through Pichai’s account which is also connected with his Twitter account. As a result, OurMine was able to broadcast their hack to all 508,000 of his followers, Yes 508,000 followers. As of now, the tweets have now been removed.
But, unlike the Zuckerberg hack, where the hackers managed to break into his accounts using a password obtained from the massive leak of LinkedIn data, access to Pichai’s Quora account seems to have been via a vulnerability on the question-and-answer website’s end.
Ironically with these latest exploits, OurMine is trying to rebrand itself as a Security Firm and has said they are trying to support these people so these incidents don’t occur again.
the group told :
“We are just testing people security (sic). We never change their passwords. We did it because there are other hackers who can hack them and change everything.”
Whether it is security check or not but it is Sunder Pichai Google’s CEO that means lot and breaking in his account is never that small thing.
