Also featuring a delivery date of five business days are iPhone X orders from Apple for T-Mobile customers. Perhaps T-Mobile customers are ordering the iPhone X more than those subscribed to other U.S. wireless operators.
Apple Stores in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Pittsburgh and Seattle reportedly have had the phone in stock for you to walk-in and purchase. So if you don’t want to wait at all, that could be your best play. Remember, the 64GB iPhone X is priced at $999 and the 256GB variant will set you back $1,149.
Top Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities says that the problems that slowed down production of the iPhone X have been cleared up. Apple had major issues with the TrueDepth Camera’s dot projector, one of the major components used with Face ID. Kuo says that Foxconn, the exclusive manufacturer of the iPhone X, is now churning out 450,000 to 550,000 units a day. That is more than triple the pace from the original 50,000 to 150,000 handsets that were rolling down the assembly line when production first started.
