Best new icon packs for Android (December 2017)

Hey, you, are you looking for a new icon pack?

If you’re into cusotmization, then you’re probably always on the hunt for the next great icon pack that would make its way to your homescreen and we really understand this addiction. In order to scratch both your and our itch, we regularly provide you with monthly icon packs that should act as a fix for your cravings.

This month is no different as we’ve separated the wheat from the chaff and now present you with all the icon packs that are worthy of their salt. Here goes:

My 8

This icon pack is a homage to MIUI, popular China-based manufacturer Xiaomi’s custom Android skin, as it aims to adorn your device with similarly-styled flat icons that support a whole lot of over 1,000 of the most popular apps for Android. Visually, this one is nothing special but a simple flat icon pack that would do the job without vying for too much of your attention.

Oreo 8

With over 2,500 icons on deck, this icon pack really stretches out its bang-for-buck ratio – you get a lot of icons for $0.99. All of these are circular just as its trendy right now and rest assured that any app you have will be accordingly themed thanks to the built-in icon masking.

Yes, that’s right – this is an iOS-like icon pack for Android. Frankly said, there’s no denying that this one is among the best ones we’ve seen in general and should definitely be considered by folks that want to recreate the stock iOS experience on their Android device. The pleasure of doing so will cost you $1.49 and will let you play with over 6,250 icons, which is a pretty mind-boggling number, all things considered. Not only that but it also has that sweet icon masking feature built-in, making sure all of your icons will look uniform.

Dualix

You might not like the overall aesthetic of Dualix, but you really have to applaud the developer’s work – each icon is designed perfectly to fit the overall post-apocalyptic neon-y aesthetic, which definitely has its fans out there. With Dualix, you get a whole lot of  over 1,150 icons to adorn your desktop with.

Papercons

This new icon pack is small, yet holds the promise of growing fast – it has merely 400 or so icons on board at the time of writing, but the developer seems set to gradually expand this number to a larger total tally. As it befits any self-respecting icon pack, this one also has its own set of wallpapers included in the purchase, which is nice.
