Kuldeep Yadav was the man who stood out for India in the first ODI vs South Africa.
The left-armer finished with 3 for 34 in 10 overs and was easily the pick of the bowlers. The only bright spot in not the best display by the Indians on the field.
Kuldeep removed JP Duminy, David Miller and Chris Morris to leave the Proteas reeling at 208/6.
But Faf du Plessis led by example with a 112-ball 120 to guide his side to 269/8. Du Plessis hit 11 fours and 2 sixes as they plundered runs in the death overs.
