It’s World Toilet Day and what a better way to start the day than with a royal dump in a 18-karat-gold toilet. We’re not kidding. It exists.
Designed by Artist Maurizio Cattelan and installed in New York’s popular Guggenheim Museum, the contemporary art installation is part of an exhibit called ‘America’, and is estimated to be anywhere between $1 million and $1.7 million.
But why install it in the first place?

To let the users experience an extravagant luxury, while they make the pee pee and the poo poo. We kid you not, this is a fully funtioning toilet that has become such a hit with museum goers that there’s an average waiting time of two hours.
For a $15 entry fee, it’s quite a deal.
The toilet has it’s own personal security guard and attendants who clean it after every use.
Do also check out the world’s most expensive toilet that’s embellished with 72,000 Swarovski crystals and costs $94,480.
But wait, there’s more. If you didn’t like the crystals, how about the Hang Fung Gold Toilet? It only costs about $5 million. Sounds about right. Yep.
