Sachin Tendulkar Loses His Cool, Wants Twitter To Remove Fake Accounts Of Sara & Arjun

Arguably the greatest Indian cricketer to have ever graced the game, Sachin Tendulkar terrorised opposition bowlers and won over fans for his batting prowess. If his artistry with the willow took the Indian team to new heights, his calm and composed demeanor helped him establish a fanbase every cricketer can only dream of.

Not the one to lose his cool, Tendulkar recently was seen lashing out at Twitter after a fake account of his daughter Sara hogged the limelight for a controversial tweet.

Aimed at Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) supremo Sharad Pawar, the twitter account named ‘SaraSachin_rt’ tweeted: “Everyone knows that Sharad Pawar NCP looted Maharashtra State but little known that he tried Center too #MallyaNamesPawar”.

The tweet, from the fake account, took the micro-blogging website by storm, with several NCP workers even seeking an explanation from the Little Master. While the NCP sought a probe into the issue, Tendulkar issued a statement and clarified that her daughter had nothing to do with it.

Taking to Twitter, the former Indian cricketer tweeted: “I reiterate the fact that my children Arjun & Sara are not on twitter. We request @Twitter to remove all such accounts at the earliest.”

“Impersonation wreaks havoc, creates misunderstanding & traumatises us. I appeal to the platform to take corrective measures immediately,” he said in another tweet.

In the wake of the retired cricketer’s clarification, NCP leader Jitendra Awhad said that attempts to malign the image of his party’s leaders would not be allowed.

“We are quite sure that Ms Sara has not tweeted this. But as Mr Tendulkar himself clarified the matter, we will lodge a cyber complaint against these unknown trolls who are misleading the people. The police should take action against these paid trolls,” Awhad was quoted as saying by the Asian Age.
