Until then, customers who purchased the Verizon Galaxy Tab S3 will be pleased to know that the carrier has teamed up with Samsung for the release of a small, but important update.
Among the changes mentioned by the carrier, there’s HDR (High Dynamic Range) video streaming support for Netflix services, something that many users probably expected to get at some point.
An equally important change is the addition of a new security patch, in this case, it’s for the month of October, so the tablet is still one month (soon to be two months) behind when it comes to security-related updates.
Finally, the update is supposed to fix an issue with the fingerprint setup wizard. The update is pushed OTA (over the air) in waves, and shouldn’t be too sizable considering the list of changes listed by Verizon.
