Many have seen him play in stadiums but some have had the good fortune to play a game of ‘gully cricket’ with the legend.
A video of Tendulkar playing gully cricket on the streets of Mumbai is going viral. In the clip, Tendulkar can be seen with the bat in his hand and hitting a few tennis balls on a Mumbai street, with the ‘Mumbai is upgrading’ boards in the background.
It is reported that he that the video has been shot at a location in Ville Parle in the city and the players with Tendulkar are in fact employees of a nearby hotel in the area.

Tendulkar is often hailed as the ‘God of Cricket’ and made his debut for India at the age of 16. He hails from Mumbai and honed his skills as a precocious teenager in the city’s famous maidans.
He represented Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy when he was just 15 years old and scored 100 not out in the game, making him the youngest Indian to score a century on first-class debut.
